AS in Criminal Justice

The Criminal Justice System is organized into three major components: law enforcement, courts and corrections. Within each component are a variety of positions that offer a wide range of both traditional and non-traditional career opportunities. The system, its subdivisions, and many of its employment opportunities exist in part or whole of levels of government: federal, state, county and local.

The Associate Degree Program in Criminal Justice is designed to provide a solid foundation of the criminal justice system. Students are introduced to law enforcement and social sciences as they apply to the field of criminal justice. Graduates of this degree program are prepared with the knowledge, skills and work habits required for entry-level positions.
