Scholarships and Grant

King Graduate School Students may be eligible for one of the following institutional scholarships.

KING GRADUATE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS

Graduate Articulation Scholarship (MART) May be awarded to full-time graduate applicants attending an undergraduate institution that has an articulation agreement with the Monroe King Graduate School. Recipients must maintain a cumulative 3.7 GPA, full-time status and continuous enrollment.
   
Mayor's Graduate Scholarship Program  (MGSP) Awards may provide up to a 50% tuition discount for students who are full-time employees of the City of New York. Recipients must maintain a 3.3 cumulative GPA.
   
International Student Scholarship (INTS) May be awarded to new Monroe graduate international F1 matriculated students. Students must maintain a 3.7 cumulative GPA and continuous enrollment. The number of awards is limited by the availability of funds.
   
Graduate Law Enforcement Grant  (MCJG) Awards up to 50% of direct costs for each semester based on the student's enrollment status. May be awarded to part-time or full-time matriculated students who are active, retired, or disabled members of a uniformed Police Department in addition to correction and court officers. Students must maintain good academic standing and continuous enrollment. The number of grants is limited to 50 students per award year. The award may be used for any major that is offered by the College.
   
Masters Alumni Scholarship (MALS) May be awarded to full-time students who completed their Bachelors Degree at Monroe College, graduated with a 3.5 GPA, are a registered member of the Alumni Association and are returning to begin their Master’s Program. Students must contact the Alumni Association located on the New Rochelle Campus to begin the application process for this scholarship. The number of scholarships is very limited.  For continued eligibility, students must maintain a 3.5 or higher GPA, full-time status  and continuous enrollment.  The scholarship ends upon the completion of the graduate program.
   
Masters Public School Safety Officer Grant (MPCJG Up to 50% of direct costs based on each semester’s enrollment status may be awarded to full or part-time matriculated students who are active, retired, or disabled School Public Safety Officers.  Proof of current or former employment.
   

Mildred King Scholarship (MKS)


May be awarded to students beginning the Master’s Program in Fall ‘16, who have a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher from their prior school and two years of work experience. Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher based on completing 9 credits in the previous semester and  full-time continuous enrollment. The number of awards is limited by the availability of funds.  Eligibility is determined by the appropriate Campus Administrator in the King Graduate School.
